Cortney Pine at Musicport

flown ARCS PA system

HPSS’s clients come back year after year. In consultation with the client, Hugh Jones from HPSS suggested that for this years Musicport a complete redesign of the Main Hall layout would improve many aspects of the event. By turning the room around the audience viewing was improved, allowing for a taller stage to be built, improving site lines, the low existing permanent stage could then be used as a seated viewing area. This allowed the ARCS system to be flown for the first time at this event, providing more even coverage of the venue.

A fantastic line up of Artists from all over the world was assembled by Musicport’s Jim and Sue McLaughlin including Bollywood Brass Band, Sidi Goma, Linton Kwesi Johnson and Varttina getting Friday night off to a spectacular start and finishing on Sunday with London Bon Dancers, Eduardo Niebla Experience, Kekele and Courtney Pine.
