Stage sound and Lighting Hire for Cleethorpes new Events Arena
Live Nation and NEL Council wanted a spectacular classical concert to inaugurate Cleethorpes’ brand new Events Arena, so naturally given the long standing relationship, they called in HPSS to provide the Stage hire, PA system Lighting and Power for the classical concert, A two bay 12m orbit stage was used to provide in excess of 200sqm of stage space.
A 24 box dV-DOSC PA system was designed and flown to provide even coverage to 80meters. Iain Firth Mixed the 52 piece Orchestra on a Yamaha M7 allowing for very fine control of the 67 microphones on stage. A mixture of DPA’s, large and small diaphragm condenser microphones were used to capture the complex sound of Manchester Camerata.
