Stage, Sound & Lighting hire for Live@Cusworth 2009
After a successfull first year of involvement at Cusworth Hall, HPSS were again pleased to be approached by Doncaster Borough Council to provide Stage, Sound & Lighting for the two night “Live@Cusworth” event at Cusworth Hall in Doncaster.
HPSS Stage Hire supplied our 12m x 6m Dome Stage for use on both Saturday and Sunday night accommodating both Sandi Thom and the Doncaster Concert band respectively.
HPSS PA Hire supplied a ground stacked L-Acoustic dV-DOSC system with Yamaha M7CL’s on both FOH & Monitors. All monitors were L Acoustic HiQ’s with SB118 on drum fill. Both FOH & Monitor amplifiers were supplied from our stock of LA8 Amplified Controllers.
Whilst the Saturday night was a fairly typical band setup, the Sunday evening required a different approach. Drawing on experience gained at similar events HPSS specified and supplied a full setup of spot mics for the full concert band comprising some 35 mic stands and 38 microphones ranging from akg c414’s to shure b98’s all from our hire stock.
Hire of Lighting equipment & engineers included not only stage lighting but Architectural lighting in the form of three 2.5k City Colours from Studio Due. These were used to great effect to light Cusworth Hall which formed the backdrop to the stage. On stage lighting supplied comprised of 24 PAR’s, 4× 575W moving heads and LED Pixel PARs.
HPSS also supplied a mobile lighting tower to provide site lighting at the main entrance to the concert site.
