HPSS provide stage sound and lighting for Musicport 2006
The North of England’s premier world music festival surpassed itself again. Jim McLaughlin Musicport festival director once again pulled together a stunning line up of artist from all over the world.
The weekend started with Chartwell Dutiro (pictured) and featured acts as diverse as Eliza Carthy (pictured), Apache Indian (pictured), Buena Vista Social club and Blozabella (pictured).
For the sixth year in succession HPSS provides the Stage, PA system and Lighting and Engineers for the Main Hall at Whitby Pavilion.
A substantial L Acoustics ARCS PA system was used along with Midas Heritage on FOH and Sienna on monitor duties. HPSS sound crew were, Hugh Jones, Iain Firth, Martin Wharton, Simon Lutkin and Dany Trowhill, with lighting being under the control of Keith Harper
