Hull Bid Trinity Festival September 2013

Brief
To manage and  produce the Trinity Festival on behalf of hull BID. Not only equipment, but also the event management, health and safety to develop this event within the tight logistical area of the churchyard and city centre square.

Approach
 Consultation with the authority bodies in the city including highways to implement a road closure system in line with our traffic management plan. Discussion with the church as to weddings and service times.  Meetings with The Police resulting in them agreeing to lift the designated public persons order on the area in line with the times in our event management plan. Working alongside a young and vibrant programme organiser to ensure all technical equipment was in place and information flowed quickly and efficiently from performers to technical staff. We held discussions with local businesses to see that maximum benefit was achieved for all in the area.  Contacting local residents with details of the programme and sound restrictions in place giving them a number by which they could contact us with any complaints or queries. Then planning how to use the limited space to the best possible advantage, managing to get in all staging and backstage facilities safely, using our dome stage and lighting and sound equipment.. This was a great team effort by everyone involved from Hull BID to Holy Trinity church itself

Result
A relaxed and smoothly run Festival with a great chilled out feeling, the debrief revealed no problems or incidents and HPSS Limited have been contracted for next year.
