Tower of Light

We provided an extensive PA system to Hull City Council and Walk the Plank for the Tower of Light. The system included our L-Acoustics KARA II, A15s and KS28s and was designed to provide even coverage across the wide audience area.

Originally commissioned by the Tate Liverpool as a celebration of the UK’s maritime heritage, the event included a torch-lit procession featuring 500 community volunteers, pyrotechnics, performance and music.

The CULTURAL Tides Conference

We provided a full sound, lighting, stage and AV package for the Cultural Tides conference, a new conference dedicated to Hull’s cultural sector. 170 attendees at the events space in Princes Quay heard from a range of speakers discussing Hull’s contribution to culture and creativity in the north of England.

Equipment supplied by HPSS included L-Acoustics A15s and X12s, Prolights SmartBat+ uplighters, our Samsung RZ970 10K Laser Projector and Samsung 65” 4K Screen.

Smailes Goldie RE-BRANDING

We helped Smailes Goldie with their re-branding event as part of their 125th Anniversary year. We provided a full sound, light, stage and AV solution for the event at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Hull.

The sound system consisted of L-acoustics A15s, KS21s, with 5XTs as lip fills, X8s serving as delays, while the lighting package included our Robe Paintes and LEDJ Rapid QB1 uplighters.

G4 Rehersals

Our staging area was transformed into a rehearsal studio for G4 this month, in preparation for their 20th anniversary tour which begins on the 16th April at Worthing’s Assembly Hall.

Trinity Festival Rebooted

Trinity festival was back again this month, supported by Hull BID and Hull City Council.

We provided a range of PA systems, microphone packages and other equipment across the festival’s 12 venues, where over 50 bands and musicians performed though the day.

Trinity Live also returned this month for its spring season, with an updated sound system provided by HPSS. The system includes our L-Acoustics A10s and KS21 subs.

ALLEN & HEATH DLIVE HANDS ON TRAINING

More training took place in march, this time it was an opportunity to get hands on experience with our dLive consoles and training from Allen & Heath.
