Hull Bid awards
We helped Hull BID Awards 2024 celebrate their 10th year with their 2024 awards ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Hull. We provided a full sound, light, staging and AV solution to cater to the over 320 guests who’d gathered to celebrate Hull’s city center businesses.
The speaker system consisted of flown L-Acoustics A15s and KS21 sub-woofers on the floor, with 5XTs serving as front fills. Lighting fixutres included our Robe Paintes, Pointes and 150 LED Beams.

THe HUll Derby
We helped Hull FC and Hull KR kick off the 2024 Super League season with a record opening round attendance at the MKM Stadium in Hull. Our Robe Mega Pointes (in Clay Paky Igloos) and SGM Q-8s were used alongside the existing stadium lighting for the pre-match light show.
Carpenters Story
The Carpenters Story is back out on the road for 2024 with an all new speaker system provided by HPSS.
The new rig consists of L-Acoustics A10s and KS21s, providing the perfect blend of power and flexibility.
Bridlington Spa
February ended as it began, with another visit to Brid Spa.
We provided a sound system for Example’s visit to Bridlington Spa at the beginning of the month, consisting of flown L-Acoustics KARA II with A15s and KS28s on the floor and A10 front fills.
More recently we put in a similar system for singer Raye, who performed at the Spa on Tuesday the 27th.
Hull City Hall
We put a range of equipment into Hull City Hall this month, including a sound system for comedian Adam Rowe and an L-Acoustics A15, KS21 and X8 system for Professor Brian Cox’s Horizons: A 21st Century Space Odyssey.
Training
February was also a month of training, with the entire company completing a three-day first aid course. Members of our lighting department also made the trip down to Robe UK to learn more about using and maintaining our Robe fixtures.
We also hosted DiGiCo Console Training in partnership with Core Pro Audio and presented by DiGiCo. This was a fantastic opportunity for our staff and local freelancers to consolidate their knowledge of our DiGiCo desks.
